Dolphins Claim WR Justin Hunter Off Waivers
The Miami Dolphins added depth to their ailing Wide Receiver corp by adding Justin Hunter to the squad off of waivers from Tennessee. Hunter, 25, was the second round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2013 and has played 3 seasons for the them. He started 13 games and has shown potential scoring 8 touchdowns in his NFL career. Hunter is a big target at 6 feet 4 and 203lbs and he caught 8 passes for 87 yards this preseason. So the talent is there and he played for Fins WR coach Shaun Jefferson in Tennessee.
Miami has some concerns at the position due to recent injuries. Last year's first round pick DeVante Parker has battled injuries including a hamstring strain, and last week Kenny Stills injured his back. The addition of Hunter should give them some solid depth.
